You may not get arrested, but a docket will be opened against you - as per procedure. Funny how the reservests don't respond or confirm these anomolies. Makes you think...

You are supposed to be able to report a crime at ANY police station. The docket then gets transferred.
BUT the police are just too lazy and send you off to whatever station they think is the 'right' one for the area you happened to be in at the time of the crime.
