Don't think you could mix and match horisontal and vertical views.
Anyways I can already see 8 screens around me giving me 360 degrees of vision. That and project natal or even just the wii mote plus + fps game Like COD MW2.
You can see where this is going.

May I add, This new Feature is introduced on the ATi Radeon 5-series...

The Radeon 5870, a KILLER GPU (single core) even beats (in some games) the NVidia 295 (Dual 275 cores)!

One thing about this card is that it's REALLY powerful. Another is, it's quite affordable (compared to Nvidia's solution)...
In the USA it's ~US$380-450 (for different brands), that rounds to about R3000. But the moment you bring such a card here, it shoots up to R4500+ (Guaranteed!)
Now think about this, we are all South Africans, we all earn a normal income (which isn't all that high). But still, the market has to damage our pockets!

Recently, I read an article on Tom's Hardware: US$650 Gaming PC
US$650 = ~R5000.
I did some searches, (on Rectron pricelists and other eStores) and the same/similar components came to about R8500!!!!

What I'm getting at is... Even though all this technology is all very nice...
but nice if you can afford it... and in SA, that 'nice' belongs to the richest of them all...
P.S. I'm going overseas at the end of the year! Picking up myself one of those 5870s!!! Woooo!
