Multichoice charging for Drifta subs on Premium package

I have a stop order running to pay my DSTV subs.

Saw the little envelope thingy message saying I am in arrears and risk of disconnection.
I stupidly paid to save the kids from a Disney blackout.

I felt uneasy so I called in to find out that I was being charged for the Drifta subs which I activated in April WTF!!!
Well they will credit my account but I didnt appreciate the inconvenience!

Has this happened to anyone else?

On DSTV premium as well vith PVR and Extra view enabled.
The drifta subs reflects on my statement but then lower down there is a rebate of R36 for the Drifta. I did not receive the rebate the first month, but was credited with it the following month.
The billing seems to be almost as bad as City of Johannesburg.

I never receive a statement from multichoice

you can download one from their website

they email their statement to me, you can also do most of the laborious tasks the dstv website once logged in.

The drifta was meant to be something to pay subscription for but had a free subscription period until the end of the 1st quarter of this year. But I do recall for those on premium DStv subscription had the period was extended until 2012. I'd don't have a drifta but just trying to remember stuff which I've seen on the DStv forum, I'd say try and investigate there to get your answer.
