Found one in a store room (along with a few others things) and thought of putting on BoB at R1.00 incase someone needs a part? Sell as it - because

Kenwood Mask KDC9023 without bracket and CD not reading
VW Symphony radio from a VW Life that won't eject a CD
A black/white CRT CCTV monitor (still works)
PS2 Slim DVD remote

And a few other odds and ends.

Or tossing/smashing them better?

The CD refused to eject, he spent R600.00 fixing and it lasted 4 months. At that point, he just pulled it out and bought a Sony.

Get some cash for it, take it to Cash Crusaders or converters and if there is anything you like there you can use the items to get an even bigger discount on something you like.

They do still work on Multichoice...the working models of course. As a matter of fact, if you're using a SD decoder you'll be hard pressed to find a better model. Multiple outputs (scart x2, svideo x1 , composite x2) makes it a great SD unit.
