Multichoice is simply avoiding to make DStv Now standalone service because it has to be cheaper and offer on demand live TV #SuperSport which can lead to linear TV losing subscribers to DStv Now because of affordability it has nothing to do with free streaming option

DSTV is still the only Premium service that shows adds, all other Premium services you specifically pay to REMOVE ads. This stays ridiculous. Even for a value added service.

All good if this extra revenue is used to improve the platform but till now DSTV streaming is the worse by far of any other streaming service out there. Not only with regards to streaming but also content management. They would miss episodes often or just pull something without any warning that is is expiring. And then we won't even go into the UI.

Spot on. The service and the platform is incredibly badly managed. The current IP address based authentication prices is a disaster.
