DStv Internet and Showmax bundle launched for R279 per month

MultiChoice has launched a DStv Internet contract bundle that includes 25GB of daytime data, 25GB of night data, and a Showmax Entertainment subscription for R279 per month for 24 months. The price includes the router and SIM.

A regular Showmax Entertainment subscription is R99 per month. Subtracting this from the bundle price yields an effective R7.20 per gigabyte rate, counting only the daytime data.

I guess being able to choose which channels you'd like to subcribe to and a sports only package will be coming soon after this amazing breakthrough.

That's R149-249 for 25+25GB, don't know if you still get the new Showmax cheaper or for free with the higher packages. They can at least zero rate Dstv and Showmax then it would make sense.
