Somewhere I saw this in action. The guy had a local ADSL account running on his router, and from his Proxy Server he a second "virtual" connection running offering International. The server was configured with IP tables to route the bandwidth over the relvant connection according to the locale of the relevant IP Address. Has anyone got any information on this or can direct me to do the right place?

As mentioned above - [searchforum]RouteSentry[/searchforum]

Is there a linux based GPL alternative? As standard IP Cop doesn't support it... apparantly I need to create a V_PPPoE connection?

I think someone got it working with IPCop or Smoothwall, not sure how though sorry. :)

Edit: Bwana beat me to it and found the thread too ;)

thanks guys...

I will check it out...

If I have any further queries relating to this issue I will post them here... K?

RuoteSentrY is not an option as it will only run on a Windows XP machine. I am running a network of about a dozen workstations and laptops. Plus we are also offering internet access to other companies in the building.

I am requiring the solution in a single box with DHCP and Gateway configuration to go to other PC's, laptops on the Network.

IPCop will be a route worth routing ;)

i use routesentry on my one XP machine, another one just logs into SAIX account, and my GF's laptop has her own login. and my xbox has its own unshaped account. multiple logins ftw

I am using IP Cop - its working like a dream. Local account downloads from greenlab.co.za, bitfarm.co.za and the international is just for browsing.

Extremely reliable and no problems to date.

edit: wHOOpS sorry see it was already listed above. Well, I can vouch that it does in fact work!
