Good day all,

I was wondering if any of you tech gurus could give me some advice on my below system and potential set up,

205 2mp hikvision turbo HD cameras split between 14 turbo HD hikvision 16 channel Dvrs at 10 different locations.

Currently I just have one pc running iVMS 4200 playing a single camera stream for 20s from each of the above in rotation for remote viewing (to keep track of stores, what’s happening in them, busyness levels, randomly catching unwanted things like theft etc) it’s not meant to be a permanent viewing station but just something people in the office including myself can view as we are there.

Obviously this isn’t efficient at all, I was thinking 4x 43 inch screens powered by two PCs playing the above in 60s intervals (50 cameras per screen with 4 simultaneous streams on each TV)

Firstly, would iVMS be the best monitor software to use for this or is there something else you’d all recommend for my scenario?

Secondly, what kind of PCs do you think I will need to run the above? Or would anything with 2 hdmi outs be ok? On the current pc the software doesn’t even use 10% of system resources (it’s an all in on HP screen) but kind you it’s only playing one stream every 20s

Lastly, is there any other set up/ recommendations you would suggest for my scenario?

Thanks a mill!
