Firstly, apologies if posted in the wrong place ... I was at odds trying to figure out exactly where to post this :o

Anyway, I have a few questions I hope you chaps can help out with.

I want to get some pre-paid local but don't want to set up any bridge mode, semi bridge, route sentry, etc, so want to know

1) - can I just enter the pre-paid account's details into my router and A for away or what? The plan is to keep my existing unshaped account but only use it after the pre-paid is used up. Would I just, after using up the local, just re-enter my ISP details back into the router to change accounts?

2) If you buy say 5GB of local pre-paid, once you reach that 5GB, usage just cuts off right? No extra costs somehow?

3) who is the best, easiest pre-paid provider to go with (support, reliability, price wise) ?

Any help is as always greatly appreciated :D

1. Yes

2. Yes as long as you don't set it to auto-topup or similar.

3. WebAfrica or Axxess seem to be the best, I've used both with no problems.

Yes
Yes
Axxess - well, the only guys I've ever tried. Been using them since Feb and really happy. You can get the vouchers at Pick 'n Pay and you got 3yrs to use your bandwidth.

To make it easier with Axxess, you only change your username and leave all the other settings. You can setup your password to be the same as your other ISP.

Axxess has no strings attached - you just buy a voucher and enter in the details.
