Can a muscle relaxant be bought OTC? Brand name? I must have slept in an awkward position, back/shoulder is aching terrible. No, I am not going to the doctor today :)

Yes, alcohol get it from your nearest bottle store, shebeen, tavern, pub or cuboard
I personally like beer for this purpose... in small doses

Take one or two and call me in the morning

Ask the pharmacist for a few Soma (Carisoprodol) pills. Worked wonders for my stiff shoulder/neck.

^^ Always helps

There is also a type of plaster you can get, cannot remember the name now - will post it when I remember.

Trans-act

There's also Robaxin. Just ask your chemist to recommend something.

Go for a half hour physio session. No medication, jel, plaster or anything will help. Your muscle has gone into a deep seated spasm. All these so-called muscle relaxants are actually just anti-inflamatory medication. A real muscle relaxant strong enough to resolve a deep spasm will also be strong enough to kill you...

The local Rasta on the corner will have some herbal remedy for that you know...

But thats more buying it UTC.
