I started piano lessons but the teacher said if I would feel more comfortable with getting a midi based keybaord then I should.A piano is 88.
Keyboards come in all sizes, up to full size piano.
What do you want to do with this thing?

The guy at the music store said I should consider a Casio CTK 3200
Does anyone know about Medeli keyboards? I've never heard of them before, but I saw Medeli MD200 for a really good price
Never heard of them.
So you want a keyboard with sounds then?
I haven't yet decided. I'd like to get some "professional" but on the budget side. If it's a keyboard or MIDI device depends on which comes first.
@Pooky can you make any suggestions?
What are you wanting to use it for? Purely learning piano... or using it with a computer and DAW?
Learning piano and using it with my computer
What's your budget>?
Let's wait til I get paid. But let's R2500-R3000 (R3.5 pushing it)
M-Audio is a good brand if you want to use it for MIDI purposes. Something like this: http://www.mercurymusic.co.za/pPROK...e-Digital-Piano-with-USB-Audio-Interface.aspx
...16 bit audio interface built in... :erm:
Yeah, I don't see the purpose of that if I already have a sound card
