Perhaps. Or my chair is a bit short. It's just a tad higher than what I would feel comfortable with
Mine comes up to, more or less desk height, or a little taller. Once we're in our new place (whenever that is) I'm going to get one of those 2 tier stands that can angle downwards for my Korg Delta and the above mentioned.

Amplitube is a guitar amp/pedal/fx software emulator.
They have a custom shop where you can buy bits of gear individually - You buy credits to do this, and at the moment they are having a 'buy 1, get another 3 free' promotion.

Think I saw someone looking for a midi controller keyboard a few pages ago - don't think that this one M-AUDIO KEYRIG 49 - is in the same league as the ones mentioned earlier.
But I wouldn't have it for R2k.
New its going for about R1k on Amazon.co.uk and then ship with postbox-courier.com down here for another few pounds - I reckon it'll come in well under R2k.
So negotiate away

Next purchase is a pair of nice monitors.
@Shake&Bake - paid R1450 for it at Paul Bothners. Great price if you ask me. Works hundreds with my Linux set up and my bass sounds awesome through it.

Nice, you can't go wrong with a Focusrite, especially for the price.
Din't skimp on a good pair of monitors - and, please do some acoustic treatment because there's no point having a high end pair of monitors if your room 'sounds' like crap, ie: you won't get full use out of them.
