Anyone know where I can take cello classes? Please PM. Really struggling to get someone
On another note, it's about time I update my DAW. Currently using Sony ACID Pro 5. What DAW would you guys recommend?

Anyone here proficient in Abelton Live?
Nope, I hate it.
It has a lot of useful and powerful features. I know people who won't use anything else (and they've in the past used most of the big ones). But this type of software is largely a matter of preference.I'm going with it cause of it's automatic synchronzation of audio clips, will make it easier when I'm creating mashups of songs
What you just mentioned is basically the standard on most midi controller keyboards.I'm looking for a midi controller keyboard (having never played a keyboard before), that will interface very well with soft synths. I don't care much for the hardware synths included, I won't be using them, so it's preferable that I'm not paying for an enormous high quality library that I'm not going to use.
These are the features I am most interested in. Let me know if I should look for other features based on my aims, and if there are any midi controller keyboards that you would recommend for interfacing with a DAW.
Semi weighted
Expression (Would you recommend expressive keys or a pedal? Do they both interface with the DAW?)
Ability to increase keyboard range via +- octaves
Pitch bend
Sustain pedal
Modulator
49 or 61 notes?

What's your price range?
