I think the M-audio axiom will suite you well, but best to wait for input from the other participants in this thread
Dr Drum in da house!!!
I'm looking for a midi controller keyboard (having never played a keyboard before), that will interface very well with soft synths. I don't care much for the hardware synths included, I won't be using them, so it's preferable that I'm not paying for an enormous high quality library that I'm not going to use.
These are the features I am most interested in. Let me know if I should look for other features based on my aims, and if there are any midi controller keyboards that you would recommend for interfacing with a DAW.
Semi weighted
Expression (Would you recommend expressive keys or a pedal? Do they both interface with the DAW?)
Ability to increase keyboard range via +- octaves
Pitch bend
Sustain pedal
Modulator
49 or 61 notes?
So, I want to try make some dubstep. Anyone know how?
What do you need to know? The beat; wobbly bass?
Dubstep? Or any?
I think the easiest way which I do is to go on beatport and listen to the various genre's charts.Anything, looking for new music.
Not really in tough with current stuff.
