living life on the edge,Yeah Eastern Bazaar is awesome. I frequent that one often as well, even during the day LOL
Thanks!Babylonstoren could soothe the wounds.
Then there's this treasure trove:
What are the 3 best restaurants you have ever visited?
Please share your top 3 restaurants in South Africa. It will be great if you can give the restaurant name and location (town or city) and the type of food they serve.mybroadband.co.za
I'm not a fan of Babel myself. The grounds there are nice to walk through though. So bit the bullet and got flights down to the Cape in early April. Haven't traveled in peak times in a while but need a holiday so is what it is.
We starting in Cape Town ending in Stellies before flying out.
As much as I wanna do Babel again it's fully booked (not surprised), done Le Petit Colomb. Added Cavalli to the list on the back of restaurants to try.
Looking for any other highly recommend must try places. Not only fine dining but we wanna hit Wes Kus to and likely have a really authentic seafood experience. No allergies here so none of those issues.
Hit me up with the recommendations pls![]()
I've had food poisoning twice from there. Not a gamble I'm willing to take away anymoreThere is also Eastern Bazaar, i wouldnt go during the day cause CBD is a warzone from 7am - 6pm, but its a nice evening experience if you go after 7/8pm
Sweet thanks will check them out!I'm not a fan of Babel myself. The grounds there are nice to walk through though.
For Stellies, if you haven't driven through Helshoogte pass there are a few nice places there.
- Indochine at Delaire Graff Estate - Lots of art to look at, good wine tasting. Not for poor people.
- Hillrest Berry orchard - Great for breakfast, haven't had lunch there yet. I usually buy 5kg of frozen berries there and other stuff.
- Alluvia Boutique Winery - not for poor people
A few other places to visit on Helshoogte.
Then when you get to Pniel, then there is Boschendal which is really nice.
Check it out on Google maps.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! i was a roti schwarma guy when i worked in Spin Street, thats sad manyeah quality has dropped as per almost every store
the lamb shwarma i ate there last about 2 years ago was still good
mariams is okish ..but not great
they price is crazy
Vienna and chip parcels MOER so hard from Mariams Kromboom road, its a small store but have the Mariams favouritesthe wrap schwarma is more or less the same price as the salomi at Mariams
and I rather would go with the salomi, atleast I know what I'm getting if I go to Mariams, but I also haven't been there in ages
