Mustang nowhere to be found???

Hi Everyone, does anyone know of a Ford Dealer in JHB that has the new Mustang on their showroom floor?

I have a buddy working at Lazarus Ford in Centurion that says they get them quite often but I have not seen a single one in JHB or in the flesh for that matter. All I am seeing is the indy dealers selling them at overinflated prices and substantially more than Ford's asking price but I guess if you want to skip a waiting list then you'll have to fork out the cash.

You only have cars on the floor if you need them to be there. The Mustangs are all pretty much sold out - no need for test drives.
 
Become one of those speculation cars that people have ordered and given to a bunch of dealers on consignment hoping to make a profit. Similar thing happened when the M4's and the c63's launched. I suspect this is why you can't get an M2 order in as well.
 
I'm a VAG fan but the M4 is something special.

Mustang has more heritage than those 3 cars combined, hence why the demand. Cars are often bought with the heart. Personal opinion is that it looks better than any AMG or RS4... hard call between e36 German spec and the new 'stang.

Great vehicle SRT but if you think the Rand vs $ is bad watch the SRT against the Rand.
Yank cars are bad investments unless they end up being classics.

Certainly, my father has had GCs for the last 16years now, so I'm well aware of that, but after going with him for a test drive in the current SRT, I was sold. At that price surely one has enough money in the bank and a large number of far more promising investments not to worry about depreciation of a vehicle, just my thoughts.

Anyway, this wasn't meant to be a big thing, I just find the Mustang still very archaic in terms of its interior vs. something like a SRT that comes with everything but the kitchen sink, lol.
 
This thread is really confusing. I'm going to go ahead and assume that if I ever start a thread on the availability of, let's say, an irrational but lovely two seater, rwd, drop-top like the MX-5, we'll be discussing the deals I can get for a sensible 4wd Fortuner at my local Toyota dealership in five posts..?
