MW2 crash in-game

hi all

Im having this issue and its annoying

i install the game, got steam installed, everything!

The game loads up fine, goes though the into and it gets to the first loading point. It where you looking top down on a tactical map, and a loading bar comes up at the bottom of the screen

Whenever it gets to about 80% it kicks out to windows desktop

Ive tried everything, disabled the in-game community thing in steam, tried running the game in safe-mode (the game safe mode)

Have you updated your game? Have you tried playing mp to see if it does the same on other maps? Do you have latest (or close to) drivers? Did you test your RAM? (guessing ram as the game installs into 11Gb so your ram should be quite full)

Its not hardware related...

Im running Dragon Age Origins, Borderlands, NFS Shift (+more) all with no problems...

I think my drivers are up to date, will have to check though.

Worth mentioning that Im using Windows 7 x64... this is my FIRST issue Ive had!

I'm using Win7 x64 as well and it works fine... did you update your game and/or test it on MP?

Try set windows resolution to 1024x768, but u can leave the game to whatever resolution.. this game does have its issues.. :erm:

i also had a few crashes.. usuallyu when trying to change graphical settings in game
