Is anyone using Skype voice on their account? I don't need to run torrents during the day but often use Skype for business calls.

Hey. Here is a speed test recently done. Hope it can help you.![]()
Sorry, here is the Link: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...Telkom-vs-Mweb-uncapped&p=3774934#post3774934
Kind of helps, but i think he is comparing capped accounts, rather then the new uncapped accounts.
Also no indication how much he has used on that mweb account.
[/FONT] This was done on a sunday just after 13:00, still want to run test after 7pm @ night and test during the week as well.I've had my MWeb Uncapped(shaped) 384Kb/s line from 03 June 2010 and so far i've used 41Gb's
Was a bit of a nightmare to actually get the line up and running in the first place, but it finally happened, kept my cool and called them everyday for 2 weeks after they told me "ur line is active u can go ahead and use it" in the end an engineer came to my house(when i wasn't home) called somone at the exchange who fixed my problem in 10mins:wtf:
Browsing is actually not bad at all(day or night) seeing as i was using my phone before which was HSDPA 7.2mb/s and was terrified that the 384k browsing would be horrible.
P2P downloads currently top out @ 30-35kb/s max(even in the day) that's after i opened ports and all the tweaks, not bad actually when i realise i've downloaded 41Gigs in just over half a month(18 days)
Was quite happy untill i did test @ Speedtest.net and was surprised to see that i only get a download speed of 35Kb/s(initially thought that was only for my P2P) off of my 384Kb/s line, is that normal?

Overall i'm quite happy, i hear Telkom may be upgrading their lines or announce upgrades on 21 June 2010. Let's hope they do away with 384k lines and i get a free bump up to 512k
Hope this helps
I got the MWEB 384 uncapped at the beginning of this month. I've managed 54GB so far and there is a week and a half left. Here is a speed test I did a few seconds ago http://www.speedtest.net/result/853706977.png.
