MWEB - 4Mb Uncapped - Ping test results for Chicago!

Hi,

Thinking of switching to the MWEB 4MB Uncapped service. I have a trading application which connect to a server in Chicago, latency is an issue. Could somebody in CPT who has the 4MB MWEB connection do a pingtest to Chicago and publish the result!

I dont have Mweb but why dont you supply the IP :confused:
 
Dude, I would not recommend any of the uncapped things for that right now. It is not yet stable enough. Do a search on these forums for "mweb" and you'll see what I mean.

Its good for home use atm, but not quite there yet for trading etc.

Why are you guys posting links to ping tests for your 512kbps lines or anything OTHER than 4mbit Mweb from Cape Town. That's all he asked for.

Fraid not...but here's a ping test from my 512kbps IS line!

Thanks to all for the test, I will probably give it another month to see how the service perform I take my decision!

OP has clearly not committed to any specific option yet. And since the original request has been fulfilled (by you in post 3) it doesn't seem unreasonable that other are posting info for comparison purposes.
