I was downloading a game from ea.com when it went down. Still down, cant download rest of the game through mweb. works fine through my telkom account though

MWEN ISP CEO Derek Hershaw explains that they have a new bandwidth management device at their London POP which is not functioning as expected.

"The new device caused 3 very short (less than 5 minutes) outages in the last week or so. The vendor is on site and will reinstall some of the OS to resolve the problem," said Hershaw.

I have used bandwidth management devices for five years and have never required to reload the OS. Who is the vendor?

Some advice for M-Web: The Internet is not in London! Get a proper network.

Mweb... can you not route your business clients through SAT3? Telkom is not having any problems accessing London Servers. Its one thing for home users to experience the problems but in cases like these, business clients that are paying 4 and a half times more should be entitled to rerouting especially if its down for so long and during business hours

Fortunately for MWEb my telkom adsl line has been down for nearly a week so no complaints
