Mweb ADSL price increase

I got an email stating my adsl bundle price will increase by R11 come 1 Jan 2017.Anyone got an email like this?
 
I am not a customer of Mwebs, but this is one of the few things in life you can say no to - by moving to someone else *cough cough* Afrihost *cough cough*

Seriously though, there are loads of decent ISP's out there, not just Afrihost. Deny Mweb with your wallet and move! I did, the moment they started shaping / throttling uncapped accounts years ago - I jumped ship!
 
Mine increased by 11%. All I have is line rental and 2 x email accounts. From R387 to R429. WTF????
 
I also go one , it says it`s the line rental portion that was increased. O well , still cheaper than what the line would cost me if taken directly from Telkom.
 
This is a good reason not to use ISP provided email addresses. If you want to move, you don't have to think twice.
 
10mb line with 5GB data is increasing from R459 to R479. Time to cancel.

Bye bye Mweb 10mb, hello Axxess 20mb for R425.

10mbps: 380
20mb: 425

Who is getting these prices?
 
I moved away from MWEB six months ago they still haven't cancelled the mailbox, the trick is to set up mail forwarding to your friendly web based email... I use the unlimited service from GMX

Hi TopDawg, we emailed all affected users on 29 November regarding the line rental price increases.

Hi Drifter, your current packages and their corresponding prices are as follows. Our 10Mbps line rental pricing will increase by R20 consequently increasing your total from R438 to R458.

1 GB Capped ADSL + Up to 10 Mbps Line @ R409
1 GB Capped ADSL @ R29
