Did Mweb announce the FTTH price increase

To my surprise, I noticed that that my Mweb/Openserve fibre line monthly amount increased by 5.65% from January to February without any prior notification that I could find. Checked the internet too, and I could not find any notification of an increase anywhere. Has anyone else also noticed or experienced this?

Yes, and I have also not been notified. I am now trying to contact them to find out what is going on.

Mine went from R539 in July to R689 in September to R729 in February... a 35% increase in 8 months. Trying to contact them is a waste of time... waited 20 minutes on the livechat with no human response. Then I called, and was informed I am no 30 in the queue and it will take more than 20 minutes before an agent would be available.
