Long story short, told Cybersmart to get knotted, and put in a new landline and got MWEB as the ISP on that line.
This has been the longest I have ever waited for ADSL to be installed.
Eventually someone phones me today, asking me if I got the username and password, I say "ja, but it doesn't work on the website" can't log in. I also mention that Telkom are really dragging their feet with the installation. He says he will phone me back in 5 mins, That was 5 hours ago. The number he called me from, just rings and rings.
So I phone the national number and ask to be put through to Faiek Mohamed... they transfer my call two times then cut me off.
A public warning: MWEB, if you treat me like Cybersmart and Telkom has, I will have no compunction about cancelling this new installation and going to another ISP who values my patronage. You either do what you say you will do or you don't do it at all. Against my better judgement I chose you as an ISP, but that doesn't mean I forgot how you mesed me around with the company ADSL line at my ex-employer.
The ball is now in your court!
