MWEB Billing... check!

Hi guys,

Have any of you used the MWEB's "MyAccount" side of things?

I just setup mine and when I goto the billing section I see an amount of R808.
The date is also wrong underneath it.

I'm just concerned, I'm on the R539 deal, nothing else, so where does MWEB get R808?

MWEB Rep, care to comment?

I have also e-mail the lady who helped me setup my 4MB package, Tracy Jacobs, but she hasn't replied yet.

Been watching these forums waiting for afrihost's uncapped. This is one of the reasons i won't trust mweb..

R539 is for the month of April's access and the additional amount is the pro-rata for March...


Still want to find out if those 1000 free account/discounts we get can be used...
 
I have trust issues with most ISP's with regards to their billing.
I'm sure this is just an error, but I need someone to confirm.
Alot of us having taken this deal and I don't think alot of "you" have gone as far as to check the "MyAccount" section of MWEB.

Having said that, if it's an error, it's all good, but I suggest it get's corrected, I'm going to FLIP if I have to pay R808.
I was told only R539!

... looks like @graytg may be correct ... R539 (Full April) + R269.50 (Half March) = R808.50
 
Yeah, it's Pro Rata. I was charged the exact same amount, and infact they told me over the phone that this would be the case. So don't worry, you aren't being abused :P
 
i just signed up and got the same thing. I cried, but got over it.
