I hear your scepticism, but there are simply too many players in the market now for it to remain static. It's like that big rolling ball in the beginning of the Indiana Jones movie. Prices will come down, caps will go up, and new products will arrive. I guarantee you.
Seacom will be a joke IMO, we will still be raped as that is how business works in SA.
Most of us were hoping for 3x times less.![]()
3x less? Hmmm. 1 - 3 = -2. So you would get paid to use bandwidth, and double what you are currently paying?
I'm sure that's far more than what most of were hoping.![]()
THEY CAN TAKE THEIR SEACOM AND SHOVE IT !! if they only going to give 2Gb for the price of 1Gb. What a joke, they might as well leave prices the same. We should have uncapped international ( with fair usage policies ) when Seacom starts operating, not pathetic decreases.
Same old same old milk us.
Relax, I think she is just guessing. She is just a company spokesperson for one of the more expensive ISPs. She does not make the final decisions regarding pricing! I guarantee you it will be cheaper by a much bigger factor before the year end.
Black hole? A bit racistWhy not go and live in your "Black-Hole" ????
Maybe there you will not feel so HELPLESS
