MWeb DNS very slow lately?

[SOLVED]

This is now solved for me. A setting in Firefox was checking IPv6 for each lookup, which slowed it down. I solved it by entering "about:config" into the URL bar, searching for the entry with "IPv6" and setting it to TRUE to disable it.

Any more news?

Been having this problem since at least yesterday at one of my clients. Changing to an openDNS server seems to have helped, in the meantime. But there's definitely some kinda DNS problem on mweb's servers. Also, I can't seem to open www.iol.co.za - which is a bit odd.
Maybe the issue's on the local Internet?
Cos I also tried one of the Vox/datapro DNS's , which has always worked well for me (196.41.0.10), and even that was slow.

I also noticed this. This morning a couple local sites and even facebook need to be refreshed a few times to work properly yet speedtests show my speed is fine.

Do not forget to restart the browser to take effect of the change
