Upgraded my folks to this package from ADSL. Order and installation were completed within 5 days. Download/Upload speeds are very stable and haven't noticed any fluctuations. I've also noticed that although I'm on the R399 package, my download speed is 20Mbps so no complaints thus far.

going to sign up cos currently for WFH i am on the LTE package with them

Firstly, I wouldn't do a contract,

Secondly, I wouldn't use MWEB, ever. i wouldn't even recommend YOU use MWEB sammy, and that says a lot.

Who is the FNO ?
check around for other ISP's I'm not on mweb but sho the guys that are on Mweb in my neighbourhood complain all the time

You sure you wanna do contract?

Probably other ISP's as well, with (much) better support and perhaps, no contract.

There's quite a few threads on Mybb how it's impossible to reach Mweb's customer support.
One of the newer ones: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/mweb-customer-service-what’s-happened.1100262/#post-26065360

its free router and installation and all that

with others you need to pay in an amount

im with mweb on LTE . had good service and no complaints

yeah the issue with im on a budget with internet and mweb is the only one who is offering it at 399

others are offering at around R550 plus

From what I recall Mweb used to have a strict FUP even on uncapped products not sure now but if you are with them on LTE than adding fibre to your account should be seamless.

apparently its uncapped unthrottled
So pretty much all Fibre providers who offer "uncapped" have a fair usage policy - for MWEB, a 10mbps line is usually 100GB, after which they throttle your speed to 5mbps. So it is "uncapped" in that they don't cut you off, but you lose speed.

on openserver pretty much all the ISps offer installation free (think Openserve subsidies this) and routers honestly they all give cheap routers don't even look at that as a plus :)
monthly price is good though -
how much are you paying for their LTE?

i have the mtn BF deal which is R300 a month and now a R399 TM deal from them

but yeah i dont want a contract cos the way net prices jump up and down its not worth it
