Mweb Game specials?

It's not a RICA issue. I had an account with Mweb up to the middle of last year. The Game ad says "positive ID" and Charlene at Mweb takes that to mean SA ID only.

Can I get clarification on this? Is this offer only valid for SA ID holders? Does this mean that non ID holders can get month to month accounts but are not eligible for 12 month accounts?

I've got a 1MB line, and uncapped with another ISP.
Is this special still valid?
I'll only take it if I don't have to do anything with Game though, they're useless.

Eventually sorted, someone from Mweb called me & processed the order.

I would suggest checking your Game leaflet for confirmation.

Cool, can maybe do that, yes :)

The special is still running, but how does it work? Do I sign up with MweB and then receive a voucher? Or do I go in to Game first?
I know Telkom is bumping up 384kbps to 1MB lines soon, so am I correct in saying that if I take a 384kbps line and uncapped from Mweb on a 12 month contract I'll be bumped to 1MB anyway, with my Mweb uncapped also being 1MB?

Hi Re83L,

If I understand correctly I think you need to go to Game to sign up for the package and receive the voucher.
If you take the 384 All Inclusive option, your account will remain on the 384k all inclusive option from 1 June.
The upgrade to 1Mbps only applies to our 384k data only clients.

Was also thinking of taking out one of these. What are the requirements to sign up for an Mweb account? Minimum monthly salary? Can I run it concurrently with my @lantic capped account on one Telkom Line?
