YES! It cost me a pretty important online game. I am infuriated with Mweb by now, they seem to have international problems every single week. Just signed up for a Crystal Web trial account and will be looking to move permanently soon.
I picked up on some sites not loading properly, switched MWEB domains from @mweb to @dslmweb and the problem was resolved.
Also loads of Telkom issues - http://www.mweb.co.za/help/ServiceStatus/ServiceStatusHome.aspx.
So which of those outages are impacting the OP or you? (OP is in Durban = 031)
Telkom managed to eventually get a technician to look at my line yesterday. Subsequently I started using my new MWEB account. What a pleasure streaming was !! Well worth the extra couple bucks. Should I be using @mweb or @dslmweb ?
I am asking you a specific question, do not deflect with a personal attack.MWEB is the second largest ISP in SA and has many happy users on this forum. There were a whole lot more Telkom faults this morning which have since been cleared and removed. You are therefore late to the party without the necessary information which would have shown you that this thread could have coincided with many Telkom issues for many users.
I would be happy to post them for you, but I do feel it's best you stick to assisting with Telkom Internet and other ISPs you have interest in.

None of those are relevant to the OP in Durban and international connectivity.
I'm a kind and thoughtful person. Whether they are related to Durban or international connectivity is irrelevant.
I'm also kind and thoughtful, so would you like me to go through the history of the providers and post the relevant network notices for that time for you?
Just so I know what I'm looking for, PostmanPot: which specific international provider would have been responsible at that time for the OP's traffic and do you know which specific location in Durban we should be checking for the Telkom faults? Naturally you'll obviously do the requisite internal Mweb checks to determine traffic on the interconnects, load balancers, ports, controllers, and transit links were fine, right?
