my mweb 4M account is not working, can not browsing web page. anybody have the same problem? phone them, nobody answer the phone.

We have currently lost connection to our international bandwidth due to failures on both the primary and secondary fibre links into our data centre. Engineers are working as fast as possible to restore the connectivity. we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this and will try to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

Kind Regards
MWEB Guy

Yup network is down. Tracert bombs out within MWeb network. All phone lines seem to be to end in "too busy" tones

Sent from my HTC Desire using MyBroadband Android App

Maybe MYBB should add a Topic for Outages / Technical Updates in which the various Big ISP's can post their Issues. This should elliminate the need for hundreds of Users posting the same q's over and over again in new Threads.

Just a thought

Seems to be improving now (1.30pm). Traffic is now going via JINX and TENET.

The GOOD news is that routing to MyBB is temporarily local, and not international!

Edit: I'm in CT, and the status page is now completely blank!?

Edit #2: You can see EXACTLY how much bandwidth MWeb is using on the TENET graph:
http://monitor.net.tenet.ac.za/cacti/graph_view.php?action=tree&tree_id=6&leaf_id=874
Traffic jumped from 1.8Gbps to 4 Gbps around 1.30pm.

Mweb technical support has an automated message on their support telephone number about a link failure and that all ADSL users are affected.
