Not nice playing local games with 120-200 ms ping.

Anyone know why there is this problem?

Nope no idea whats the issue..my pings also jumped from 80ms to 200ms, makes everything useless I've PM'd the Mweb guy on facebook awaiting his response..though to be fair I'm also having issues on my Afrihost capped account..so I think IS is also a culprit somewhere along the line..

Dude, don't be daft, just use it for the bitching and moaning of the *** service that MWEB is giving us... just for that!

The pings are bad for existing (capped) MWeb users, who have been migrated to the new MWeb backbone too. There seems to be a lot of congestion on the CT/Jhb links (and all CT traffic goes via Jhb, even for sites such as UCT based in Cape Town).

Ping times have gotten much worse since the 'break' on Sun 28th!
