Hi guys pc got so badly infected with malware/spyware/etc that all had to be formatted and all mail was lost - is there any way for me to request mweb to send me all mail that would have been sent through their servers in the last say 2 weeks? It seems the online mail function they have on their site doesnt store anything....

Any way to retrieve those emails...

Thanks
J

Why don't you try an application to try and recover your emails? There are plenty available.

can someone also check for me if standardbank.co.za is down - got access to fnb/absa but no standard....

Thanks - will give a try - line is so dead here that I am a bit out of luck with downloading , line syncing at 192kbps - perma timeouts and drops its horrible - how long will a program take to scan say a 40gb hdd - does outlook express store its msgs in 1 file that you can just import - could i then just have that program search for that extension on the hdd?

Thanks

Hiren's Boot CD; RecoverMyFiles; EasyRecovery Professional. Look here and here .

It works for me.

I haven't had this kind of problem before so I don't really know. I'm sure someone here will be able to help you out.
