I attempted to downgrade my uncapped 4mbps account to the 1gb capped account before the end of September.
It wasn't downgraded and after enquiring why, today (2 weeks later) I received notification from Martha Wightman of MWEB's Customer Contact Centre stating:
"Please note that, when you downgrade it means you are canceling the current product. To cancel a product, a calendar month notice is required. Hence the reason why the downgrade will only take effect on 1 November 2013."
I suppose this is new Mweb policy, to try to stop the outflow of disgruntled clients.
