We are experiencing problems accessing local and international web pages, our technicians are investigating.

Well that's at least something: here you go, while you cant do anything useful with your internet why not catch up on your favorite DSTV shows... what, you don't have a DSTV premium account, o well, that's something for you to think about then isn't it!?!... which should keep you busy for a bit :)

Wow - I can't believe a company as large as MWEB is this slack.

Imagine if you rented a car - and it broke down a couple of times a week.

LOL i love your car analogies dude.

I think it is more like you rent a ferrari for cheap and a couple times a week it stalls. Still worth it i reckon :D

for the the past (almost 7 days) mweb have been having a lot of problems, lets hope that everything is going to be back up and running TODAY case i dont know about u guys but my news server downloads are realy realy slow , then i'm not even using mwebs server, and also why do they always just blaim seacom, seacom blames the ISP's so who must we actually believe ?

I almost put a car analogy disclaimer with that post :D

More like a FREE PETROL VOUCHERS to go with your fazza...
But then when you rock up to fill the guy up, there's no petrol in the pumps!

It's a little irritating... at the moment.
If this carries on, it could get VERY irritating! We can forgive an outage every now and again, but 5 to 6 times a month is a little extreme!

C'mon MWEB, congratz on pioneering the whole "uncapped revolution" and the "DSTV over interwebs"... but we'd also like to see some network stability to go along with the innovations.

Each break has been slightly different AFAIK. The internet has a very large number of physical and software links, any of which can lead to loss of connectivity. MWeb is still learning how to be a first-tier ISP, with all its responsibilities and frustrations...

no checked their website they are blaming Telkom exchanges; strange no issue connecting via any other ISP - MWEB is an useless ISP, they should stick to dial-up accounts...

Sigh. Again.

Who else here's openweb Gold calling their name?
