Mweb!! really??

Hi Guys,

Hows people doing on mweb? I have 4meg uncapped "premium" option. I mean i have something downloading the whole day between 5 and 15 KB\s....surely even if its shaped or im throttled it shouldnt be that bad..that is worse than when we used to have 384 accounts...ive done a speed test and my ping is 535????? i have tried 5 different routers and now even have a cisco 877 running at home and still no joy.

Definately cancelling mweb just gotta wait for this stupid 30day thing.

ISP ideas? Afrihost 4mb? does anyone have any reviews on the love edition promo from openweb? what about cybersmart 4mb?

i did check and it says unthrottled, thats what bamboozles me, why are we getting lied to
 
I see that was your second post, you should have a chat to MWeb guy.
 
ok cool thanks i will, but i have the cancellation form from mweb so im definately changing, guess im going to go the afrihost route

what do u mean a clone? i just registered today, ask rpm, i mailed him for activation today
 
Not odd for some one to lurk and register when they have a complaint,any way he would be caught out if he does not have a Mweb account

this is a nice welcome guys, lol....i didnt register just to complain, i needed advice on and isp, after all thats what forums are for right? to help others and share knowledge,if you use carbonite you can check me there cash2030...lol lets be friends people i mean no harm to anyone:confused:
 
Yeah, Fudzy, I have no idea why you think this guy is a clone simply because he only registered to complain. You can put the tinfoil hat away now.

Guess not, though surely it would be have been a lot less effort to register, ask MWebGuy to check the problem before going in gung-ho and cancelling?

Convert to 1GB account for R30, then cancel your account and sign up for afrihost, you'll gain amazing speeds and spend R30 waiting for your mweb account to cancel, I used to love mweb but they've stooped to a new level of scumbaggery, the Internet is an infinite resource so why limit how much people can use, granted no network can handle 100% load from 100% of customers but that's why you upgrade your capacity according to demand and don't p1ss off your customers by throttling their speeds to unacceptable levels!
