Im getting disconnects the whole time! Its only for a while but it means I cannot play Starcraft 2 online which is the only thing I want to do right now :(
 
Same here! Constant disconnects, not even just the game, the internet goes down completely for like 3 seconds at a time. Xfire and GSC both crash, game crashed and browser hooks for a few seconds. I get the shaping, but I hate disconnects! When will this be fixed?
 
Here is abit of a different spin on things - I use to have dial up account with mweb. When ADSL came into the picture I cancelled the dial up, BUT, being a member of mweb all these years and everybody knowing my mweb email address, I wanted to keep my email account at a cost of R70 per month. This is pretty expensive and if you think that all these uncapped subscribers can now get free gmail accounts, I feel that it is unfair that I have to pay R70 per month.
Questions:
1. If I sign up for the 384K uncapped account, will you drop the R70 email costs to make the playing field fair to everybody?
2.If you don't want to do that, at least drop it to R20 or something.
 
If I am not mistaken all you need to do is upgrade your existing mweb account that only has a mailbox on it to the 384 uncapped, and you will retain your original email address, and only pay the fee for the uncapped.

R70 a month?! You can get your own domain email for less than that after you've paid all the once off fees.
 
WoW Player here, mainly in the evenings from 8pm onwards.

I can forget about raiding, my ms sits at 600-800ms BUT anytime it is time to fight, get disconnected. It was fine at the beginning but has been unplayable most of the month so far.

I know it is a shaped account but it also feels heavily throttled. Glad I kept a few gigs on my Axxess Semi Unshaped!

I am gonna hate seeing the state of uncapped when they bump all the 384k users (myself included) up to the rumored 1mb. Lets just hope that with all the new interest in ADSL with new customers signing everyday the business model becomes self sustaining and the service gets better instead of getting worse with clogged servers and profiteering ISPs who don't put the money back in to the network.
 
Hmm, so on a Sunday night @ 10pm whilst checking some stuff out on the net I get half-speed sub-broadband speeds on my 384 line due to Mweb throttling or whatever. I have only used 4 GB this month on the mweb uncapped as well so its not like I'm a high end user. Not cool at all Mweb. :mad:

I'm playing to my part of the deal, now you play to yours.
