Mweb Sattelite help...

Hey, I'm using the Mweb sattelite, and I keep getting disconnected!! I can only use it for about 5 minutes then it disconnects, I don't think its anything mweb can help me with that why im posting it here...

I think it has something to do with the uploading, I think when it uploads a little data it stops downloading and disconnects! Or it may be the modem? or my settings?

PLease ig someone could help me on this I would really appreciate it! thanks.

I have to connect with my 56k modem before I connect the sattelite.

What speeds do u get off satalite ??
can u use torrents ?

sattelite is great cuz there's no cap and i download abou 500mb-1gig in one night, so its much better than paying so much for adsl... but I keep getting disconnected the last few days... Its average 20-30 kb/s but I got up to 100kb/s sometimes!

Most ppl are using ADSL 1mbit(wich is 4mbit now) wich costs R516. With Openweb accounts (30gig local = R139). Upto 350kb per sec easily :>

I would suggest you phone Mweb, if it's a setting, they can help you with it, it could be a faulty device aswell
