We’ve been notified by Seacom that due to adverse weather conditions the repairs to the undersea cable are going to take longer than originally expected. The work will only be completed some time tomorrow (27th of April). Our alternative international bandwidth is quite congested so we are shaping heavily on things like peer-to-peer. Thank you for your continued patience.

Regards

Thanks for the update MWEB; other clients of ours (who are not with MWEB) are also having issues.

Anyways!

Let's see how the days go.

Yay  So my one week of data, that I am having to pay half a month's subscription for, is going to get me very little. Thanks!

I'm also having issues with that, but I'm okay with it, so long they fix the cable and get it up and running and MWEB/Seacom give us full speeds again soon, I'm all good.

...and a discount for the month? ;) I only signed up for the final week of this month. Seems I will get very little for my money.

Wow lance i must give credit to your lady because the amount of moaning you can produce must be epic :D.

Thanx for the update.

I had full-speed this morning from 6 to 9 AM but it has all of a sudden died again. Damn this sucks so much.

Thanks for the update, sheesh, I see IS is also nailed something terrible by this.

Thanks MWEB, I'm really glad to see we're not left in the dark like the other ISP users.

eish... can't stream my favourite radio station from the UK... things are just too slow - oh well... mp3's then and get some work done...
