Tell them they can get prepaid credit cards and then they can buy the game like any normal person.
 
Whenever I read these types of threads, I have to remind myself that no matter what, people will always think of any excuse to defend piracy.

Thinking about this and what the long term resolution could be.....

If the players are donating to the server or purchasing in game items etc. Surely they can afford to purchase the game?

Isn't there a way to limit the progression of cracked clients to the servers so that eventually they would need to purchase the game to progress? So that they can try it out....


Regarding Piracy, Back in the day... when Pepperidge Remembered, we used to have demos to try out games etc before we can buy them. I feel that the major disappointment or buyers remorse players get after purchasing a new game and not enjoying it, force people to pirate games etc to just try them out.

If someone enjoys the game they should purchase it to support the developer.

My eyes are bleeding. 15 minutes I will never EVER get back again.
 
Is there an advantage to playing using a "cracked" client or game? Because DRM sucks. And sure as heck if I could I'd get rid of all the anti-piracy BS on all the games I own. It's a PITA.
