You really think it's okay for support to just ignore someone when they have problems with their internet because he's using profanity? I'm not saying DaveZA did, but even if he did support has to respond to him. He's got problems with the account he pays money for and it's Mweb's responsibility to ensure the product he pays them for works.

Which is why I suggested the moving house option. Apparently there is a separate division that makes the decisions if or when an exchange gets the green light or not. I like to call this division the "untouchables" because it's practically impossible to get any info from this lot, no matter who you are, not even the 10210 lot.
I've heard of people still waiting after 3 years!

I dont some do for real. There is no question that Mwebguy managed to do good and he in fact came and asked contact as he already had his management on edge to talk to the man. The sudden silence is deafening and very peculiar..

I would never openly discuss business matters in public. Yes, you can rant in public when the agreed service levels are breached. When you pay 100k or 1k, it is all up to the SLA, example: Next day business support, (24h response) or 48h response, etc.
Mweb Guy should have stated that this matter is being addressed by PM and that is where Daveza should have continued this business conduct (ethics) that arise in the business environment.
Since this is a business matter, I presume, MWEB Guy should also not have keep on about this in the public domain, it is arrogant. MWEB Guy only had to state that he is waiting on Daveza reply in PM.

Everytime I've had a problem with my ADSL line I just send Afrihost a DM on twitter and within 15mins I would get a phone call. It's the same guy each time. Know his name too.

But it looks better if he keeps bumping this thread saying he's waiting for daveza, even though daveza has stated his requirements, which haven't been met.
I've dealt with this sort of thing too often - you get a generic contact address, each time someone else responds or calls, and you have to explain the same issue over and over, and nothing gets solved.

Dont quite agree , according to MWEB Guy`s feedback their senior management are prepared to contact him. All he need to supply is his detail ( unless I missed something ? )...why play hard to get now after all the innitial noise ?
Again - senior management is not an person. Its a title or collective.
What was stopping MWEB guy from PMing the OP with the details of said person to contact?
They contact you, great, awesome, now you need to get back to that person but can't because you have no way of doing so, and then dealing with yet another person from "senior management" because the first person is now sick/on leave/in a meeting.

Well I guess you can argue both ways , it`s just odd that daveza was so hardup for help and now it`s knocking on his door and he decided to completely dissapear while the rest of us speculate. Surely it`s more important to get your R1.2M p/a problem sorted than for the sake of some giggles continue to play hardball on here ? If this "manager" dont get it sorted , by all means then give them hell on here.
