Mweb Technical support phone number does not work

i am trying the technical support numbers as per this page:

http://www.mweb.co.za/helpcentre/ContactUs.aspx

Tried the 087 700 0777 and business tech support number 087 700 0111 and i get a message that the number you have dialled does not exist.

Does anybody have the correct number?

And Mweb, maybe you need to update your website or fix your lines

The number you dialed was the correct number.
I'm not aware of any issues at the moment with but there are no reported issues.

I have since replied to you PM.

Easy way to see if there is an issue or not, try call the number from your cell. I just tried again, its not working

I can never dial the M-Web numbers from my Cell C phone - also get that "number does not exist" message. But when I phone with my MTN phone, I get through. Not sure if this is the case for you. Tried to phone now again from Cell C and didn't work, tried MTn and worked.

Very strange - but has been like that since they changed to the 087 numbers.

I have been trying from a cell c phone. That would probably explain it. Still needs to be sorted out - Mweb should look into it.
 
I think it's more a Cell C issue as I get that a lot where I can't phone a certain number from my Cell C, but can from other networks. The phone also briefly displays "radio path not available" on the screen when using Cell to dial them.
 
Strange, I phoned from my Cell C phone and it worked. Tried twice and I got through to the menu options.

I tried again - still not working from my cell c phone.

While i agree Cell C should look into this. Mweb should also check it out, especially if you serious about customer service.

I will PM the Cell C rep and notify him of this thread.

i have the same issue when calling from a telkom line ( switchboard ) but ok if i call from my cell...

Dunno if it's just Cell-C, but we have the same issue from Telkom sometimes. Telkom itself, not Telkom mobile.
 
Mweb need to fix their Voice Platform, you have intermittent incoming calls from the Telkom (LandLine) network.
Also i have noticed that certain dialing codes on outbound calls fail mainly 036.
I have a Talk Wholesale account and the system seems to fall over quite often....

I am also totally frustrated getting that the message " the number you have dialled does not exist" trying 0877000777 from my Telkom line!!! This also happens phoning the sales number 087 700 5000. From my mobile it just rings and no answer.

Afternoon ahrobert, we are having an issue with our telephony system at the moment and its affecting all numbers.

Our Engineers are attending to it and will hopefully have it resolved soon.

Is there anything I can perhaps assist you with?

Hey Ahrober, just an update.

the call centre is now open.

Our engineers have managed to resolve the issue.
