Mweb Uncapped 4096k and WoW

Hey guys! (and gals if any )

I know this has been asked many times before, but I was wondering what kinds of latencies those of you with the package get when playing WoW?

At the moment I get around 250 to 320ms average with my Web Africa account so more or less the same would be great.

Do you have issues when playing during office hours?

I get around 350ms and on some nights upto 700ms. Not using battleping or anything. On Mweb 4096 - Dragoblight

Depends on your location... Users on the Cape Town IPC gets routed out via SAT3 and JHB users via Seacom.
Sat3 (which Webafrica uses) performs a lot better due to the amount of hops + route the data travels.
I live in CT area and use a proxy service. Getting between 185 ms - 210 ms. Very happy that my traffic is now being routed via SAT3, because Webafrica unshaped BW was very very expensive. Think I paid around R100 per gig back then.

Hmm, I'm in Pretoria. 700ms is a bit high

In ct I get an average of 185ms with Lowerping.

First off, hate all WoW players in CT with their disgusting low ping.

I'm in Centurion. On average I get around 300 - 350ms. Thats in the evenings during the week though. No idea during the day. I've heard it gets hairy.

A bit of a late response.

Although I only have a 512k Mweb Uncapped, I do live in Pretoria.

With Battleping: 250 - 400ms (I'd say most times 260 - 300).

Without battleping, 300 - 700ms.

This is only for 5mans and daily run arounds (and 1 cata raid )
