I think I found the reason... still investigating...
[-]Right. Found it, although a doublecheck should do later on:

Seems to some sort of limitation in XP/XP64 when using a proxy server to share the vpn its connected to. It ends up at 1.2-1.3mbs or 2.0-2/2mbs. Same setup on a clean windows 7 install and its gone. However clean reinstall of XP/XP64 to double check would be nice. Weird

XP/XP64
Test directly in host: Good
Test directly in vm: Good
Test with host through vm via proxy (proxy running on VM, connection passed to vm obviously): Slow

Weird ****. O well..[/-]

[Edit]
After more investigation I found that netlimiter were the culprit. Strangely enough. I guess openvpn and netlimiter doen't play house *shrugs*,

. My ping and download speeds on my 2mb line are the same, about 1700, is that good?

Mweb guy

Which package is best for VoIP (not mweb but another sip provider)

Your call centre sales guy suggested the 5 gig capped account as being VoIP prioritised. Is this true?

Hi tRoN

You can make use of any of our ADSL accounts,, capped or uncapped.

I will need to follow up and get confirmation about the 5gb capped account being prioritised for voip

Ok
Please let me know.
I assume that capped are unshaped but VoIP requires low contention ratio and latency and no packet loss.

Anyone else with experience ?

Can I please have the cancellation form...

Morning Necuno

I'm sad to hear that you want to cancel with us. Please PM me the MWEB email address and your preferred email address as well.

I'm sorry too, but then again MWEB doesn't really respect privacy. If MWEB was more friendly towards net neutrality I might have given it a second thought. However MWEB don't allow the usage of tools to enforce my privacy.

All still is seen as a "frett to download" as much as you can with any means necessary; all painted with this brush. Here is where the focus are lost and its implementation of shaping should be relooked as for sure this would be the opt-out. The first time I mentioned it, it was thrown back at me as " if you want do download all you can you should use business ", however that was not the question or the intent. Of course this was a gross misunderstanding of needs changing.

Unfortunately MWEB is not inline anymore with what I want and I have to go somewhere else where I can encrypt and obfuscate my traffic as I see fit without fear or prejudice.

I'll send the the PM. Thanks.

Which tools are you wanting to use? Is MWEB breaching it's T&C and AUP?

My privacy is a breach?
Do you enjoy your privacy being logged or DPIed ?

As I've said before I needs are simple even if its just 20 gb of traffic for the month I want to manage it how I see fit with whatever tools are available. Sadly once one wants to manage your traffic its automatically associated with either underground activities or just plain pillaging the line 24.7. I guess this mentality will never be uneducated from the masses. We gladly accept that which breach our net neutrality...

Now here is an interesting question:
I've found more than one ISP that's willing to allow me manage my traffic as I see fit... then why do Naspers still want to breach my privacy?
