I quickly did the tests at home this morning but had to bring it to the office as I couldn't load mbb at home. Will only be able to assist you tonight again unfortunately. (btw I am in Stellenbosch, Dalsig)

Will PM you account information.

Thanks for the details, please see my inbox reply to you.

Hi MWEB Guy

It would appear that your online process to upgrade 1Mbps Data Only accounts can only be upgraded to 4 or 10Mbps - the 2Mbps data only option is not available.

Please could you check this out for me?

Good Morning hambone, would you like me to request the upgrade on your behalf?

If yes, what would you like to upgrade to?

Not just yet thanks - would be keen to do the upgrade on the 1st though to 2Mbps :) Just alerting you to the situation.

Thanks for that.. let me know when you would like to upgrade and I will get the upgrade processed asap.. :D

Hi MWEB Guy,

I'm trying to register for the 1MB uncapped service, but cannot. I can complete the forms, but at the end I need to accept the T&C's and click confirm. I do this, get a message that says Page Loading for about a minute. Then it goes back to the original confirm page. I have been trying since Sunday evening. I have tried two PC's and an iPad all with the same results.

Could you shed some light on this or assist me with another way to register?

Thanks.

Good Morning bhorstmann, please inbox me your contact details and your ID number. We will verify if the online registration has gone through. If not, I will ensure you receive assistance from a consultant with regards to account registration.

I just sent a PM. Thanks for the quick response.

I don't know how on earth this is possible! We have a 4mb uncapped business account with Mweb, located in Bellville and on speedtest the ping was just over 1700ms.... And download of 0.03 to Cape Town.

Here is another result:

EDIT: I'm barely able to load mybroadband and my friend's internet is completely off
EDIT AGAIN: Friend's internet is back on but now it is just as slow as mine.

Good Afternoon Qrox, your line readings seem fine at the moment. Please note that I have recreated your port and re-authenticated your account. Please reboot your router for at least 1 minute and let me know if it helped.

Reset my modem and router but now I don't have any internet access. Internet light on modem is showing as red.

I have recreated your port again, please see if you are able to connect.

Please also advise if you have any filters on the DSL cable?

Would there be any reason for NNTP still going along at half my line speed?

Good Day Elax, please be aware that p2p speeds are not guaranteed. You also have to take into consideration that you have a shaped account and the time of the day you are downloading.

We always advise our clients to not speed watch and instead look at the amount of data that they have moved at the end of the month. Looking at your usage, you are surely getting value for money...

Not saying I'm not :), I just noticed the change about a week or so ago, and was wondering if anything had changed.
