MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

I've tried everything I know to do. I've got the required equipment in the required places and nope not close to an MWEB Store, and none of my friends in my immediate area have ADSL.
 
Well my connection just died. The 'connected' light is off, can't connect at all. Everything else works though, just not my mweb account. No more internet this weekend?

Are you perhaps close to a Telkom store or incredible connection?

I am also going to log a technical call back for a loan router. However the call back can only take place on Monday, as this is the earliest available time-slot

Hi Mweb Guy, everyhting else just died here, even my land line so I'm assuming it's Telkom. Thanks for the quick response.
 
Massive speed increase just by re-enabling protected access...

Across the board I am getting better response from international sites.

An image that usually took >7s to load is now getting <5s sometimes 3 even!
 
Hi, I did this. I always have this enabled, but Mweb Guy disabled it and then my speeds when down the toilet.

Strange, in my case disabling this sorted out my speed problems, mainly with regards to streaming video. ATM my account is flying! Its never been THIS fast! :love:
 
I just signed up for the 2mb uncapped account this month and I am extremely upset and disappointed with this service. It's the middle of the month and I'm being heavily throttled. Browsing is frustratingly slow and the fastest downloads will go is 20kb/s. While I am aware that this account was not meant for "heavy" downloads, if downloading 14gb over 17 days considered "heavy" downloads, then I seriously doubt Mweb's status of being considered one of the best ISPs, because the service I'm getting is completely unacceptable.

I was able do faster downloads and browsing with my previous ISP, which was a shaped service. It seems that my upgrade from a 1mb to 2mb was, in fact, a major downgrade.

MWEB account performing really badly this whole weekend. Most sites are slow and load only partially, some sites don't load at all (can't access mweb.co.za at the moment). Tried soft and hard resets of router to no avail. Speedtest is showing 0.92 down and 0.53 up on a 4 Mbps line. What's going on?

I have put protected access back on your account and re-authenticated the account. Please reboot for 5 min and let me know if it makes any difference.
 
Im experiencing painfully slow mweb speeds since last night myself. axxess account works perfectly.
