Andre I got the same ***

All other isp no matter if the account is shaped or unshaped are far superior to this rubbish

Telkom was out and they stressed no congestion on my exchange.

End of the month I will go to another ISP, I got nothing to lose as this service has just degraded.

Pietermaritzburg, internet went down (But Skype and pinging IP addresses still worked). Couldn't browse at all.

It seems to be working now, though.

Seems better since my last post. At least browsing works and YouTube is viewable.

MWEBGuy ... any Idea what the issue was? I know you said that there were no reported incidents, but you can take all the posts in the last 24 hrs as reportable?

Hi SirFooK'nG

Got confirmation there was a slight dip in service in the Durban area yesterday. This has since been resolved and all should now be okay.

Is there an issue in the Rondebosch, Cape Town area? Our internet has ground to a complete halt. Have just switched to our WebAfrica account and the speed is back to normal so it definitely seems Mweb related. Thanks, Patrick.

Hi paddy_za

There are no issues in the Rondebosch area that we are aware of. Are you still having issues at the moment?

My connection is still dropping like a Yo-Yo, Telkom reckon it's normal. They havent even been here.

Evening Gerhardva

I checked the account there is no open fault on our side. You mentioned Telkom hasn't been at your premises, have they been in contact with you?

Crawling is right -- international Download Speed: 34 kbps, local Download Speed: 838 kbps on a 1 meg line ....

Same here, slow international downloads. Funny thing is I just called Mweb technical support to ask for a port reset and the guy told me that it is impossible and they are not capable of doing it outside of business hours for some reason he does not understand? I was wondering if the awesome MwebGuy could possibly clarify this for me?
