Problem with the mweb.co.za "My account" section at the moment? The signmein page just keeps reloading and never logs me in.

Hi blunt, is you Safari set to always allow cookies? If not, please ensure that Safari is set to always allow cookies, test and let me know if you are able to access My Account.

I have been having bad lag with Twitch tv for quite some time now. Trying to watch a stream on 240p on Mweb results in bad lag, but when using any other account there are no issues.

I noticed on my Flagfox extension that when on Mweb, the Twitch.tv website is on a local IP address which is 197.80.130.8 which is an Mweb IP range if I am correct? If so it seems like maybe that could be the issue?

Please send me some ping and tracert results and I will have a look into this.

It's p2p. It's not going to run 100s during the day (and I'm happy, because it means that there's enough bandwidth for proper daytime use).

In general, recently, I've been very pleasantly surprised at how torrents come down. I certainly don't expect full speed 24/7, but what I do get during the day is often unexpectedly zippy and during the night (later evening), it's as close to full speed as matters.

I can't seem to stay connected for more than 15 mins the whole of today...what's the deal?

Hi SiLeN

Please PM me your MWEB email address so that I can have a look into this for you.

Thanks
MWEB Guy

Hi bradrap

I am able to acces that site.

Provide me with a trace route to 2 site that you are unable to access.

Sorry for the late response, been a busy day :S

Anyway I get the same problem using the Google and default DNS's so it seemingly is not a DNS issue.

Tracing route to www.elitepvpers.com [91.205.41.227]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 General failure.

Trace complete.

Hi Bradrap,

send me your MWEB details please.

I am at the end of my tether.

Last time I had a problem with serious slow connectivity, Mweb Guy did something on his end and our speeds went back to normal. Prior to that Telkom reset the port at the exchange, and that fixed our problem.

I've been having problem since Friday afternoon where my ping would randomly shoot up from 20ms to the BF3 to 1400ms and then back down again. It's a bit frustrating, so we got hold of Mweb and they said our account looked normal, no unusual traffic so it wouldn't be throttling. As I am the one on the network that downloads, I don't do it while I am playing BF3.

Yesterday I couldn't even get onto web pages. Tracert reveals 26 out of 30 hops direct to the Authentication servers when I am having connection problem. Telkom has reset the port, and I am still getting the same problem. Ping is spiking all over the place in BF3.

What do I do know, because I have a brand new modem installed?

Can you provide me with a trace route to the server you connect to and also a trace to a local and international site.
