Can anyone in CT confirm that you guys are working hundreds again? I'm hearing from a lot of the CT guys that were having issues yesterday that it's now fixed. It's the usual story, CT is reported as being the only area with an issue, it gets fixed and the rest of us sit with BS service.

PS - yes I'm grumpy ......

I know of a few people in DBN that also are having problems, one guy in ct hasnt had stable internet for a week or so and my line seems to be slowly but surely dying. Downloads are mostly 5-10KBps and browsing takes forever. Might not be a strictly MWEB problem, probably telkom fumbling the upgrade process.

From Richards Bay here in KZN, since yesterday i cant view clips without it buffering every 2 seconds as well as online gaming lagging like hell.

Switch to my web-africa and everything is fine so what is going on with MWEB?

Also having mad packetloss since yesterday playing quakelive, red bars all over! Youtube didnt stream last night.

So more Durban/KZN guys having the same issues and when we switch accounts, everything is fine. That rules out Telskum fumbling anything and makes it an Mweb issue.

Just had to buy bandwidth from another ISP so that I can game, that's really not fair in my opinion.

MWEB super laggy in most aspects for me in Joburg area at the moment too - YouTube just never seems to load, Gmail delayed, etc.

That said, these are the first problems I've had in months, so respect to MWEB anyway.
Hoping for some updates soon though. ^^

Had to do the same Mephisto gotta get my guild wars fix.

I hope we see a response or some sort of notification about the issue we are experiencing.

have to wait more than a hour for a 50mb file....just plain not stable for http downloads. have a few GB's of mods i wanna dl but will have to wait till telkom up's my line. If i cant get stable at least i can get fast, more of a chance of getting a non-currupted dl that way.

Hi guys

Thanks for all the information thus far.

I will be looking into this from our side and will keep you updated with information.

For the gamers, if you are only experiencing issues while gaming, let me know which games you are playing so that we can get our gaming team to look into this as well.

Hi MWEB Guy,

Thanks for the response but it is not just the gaming that is affected. Downloads and video watching basically anything. Just temporarily buying some prepaid so i can at least play them games (Guild Wars 2 in this case.)

My ping's Ingame have been skyrocketing since yesterday was fine on the weekend local pingtest:
I live in the Centurion Pretoria area. Getting Pings ranging from 600-380 on dayz and Battlefield 3

My speeds seem fine, doing a speed test while actually utilising bandwidth in the background, gives about 230kbps down on 4mb line... would post the image, but just closed the tab by mistake...it's a lazy day.

If only I had some games play while work...I mean, to test if all is OK.

Wife always complains about speed (no downloads or gaming, http and youtube only) up to midday (school run after that so no feedback on afternoons) so not sure if laggy Internet is regarded as normal for business hours on residential lines.

That said, last night was definitely problematic, if that is what she experiences during the morning then be glad I'm not the one experiencing it cos then I would really be moaning.
