MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

Strangely enough I have the same question.

I Emailed sales literally just now posing the same question. Think my motives are different though - I am not going to have access to ADSL services for a little while so wondered how one would go about "freezing" an account... Cancel and re-apply when ADSL is available again...or?

I am going to miss the "The internet upgraded" while I am away... :cry:

If you get an answer to that question would you mind sharing it on this forum. I am going overseas for December and was wanting to do the same thing. Just haven't gotten around to emailing Mweb yet. Last year I went away as well and it grieved me so much that I was paying R539 for something I would not use at all.

Really all they have to do is put a vacation option on the account so that people can say I am away for a month but I guess that means they will lose money so that will never happen.

Our TS server is down and I can't rdp into my dedi either. Both are hosted your Rosebank datacenter.

I imagine that one would actually have to cancel it completely and then go through the whole process from the start... As soon as I hear anything I will post the response.

All my downloads are fine but I can't even stream this at 240p without it taking god damn ages to buffer, then play, then buffer etc; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxqTSjQCQjI&feature=plcp

In Western Cape - my connection is suddenly almost unusable, as of the last 15mins (18:30). Had trouble opening this page even..
Browsing / Google Talk / International based games are all poked.

Make that three of our Mweb boxes hosted at Rosebank DC that are down. One has just come up again, can't connect to the other two.
