Yeah I know :) but I prefer to go through Mweb.... It's been going on for a while :( they are friendly and more helpful, our line is with them 2. And my friends dad is GM there so things can get sorted quickly once I pick up the phone ;)

No feedback, service sucks! No dial tone or syncing yet :/

Hi oliverwww

We tried calling you this morning around 09:12am but you were not available. Please advise what time you'll be available tomorrow and I'll inform the relevant department.

Hi MWEB Guy

After 3 would be great :D

For the last two weeks my international access has been extremely spotty. My ping to the US has gone from a standard 250ms to a fluctuating 300ms to 900ms depending on the time of day. My download speeds have suffered similarly. I'm moving to Axxess next month so I'm not too worried but if this persists with them then I guess I'll be crapping on Telkom every day until they sort it out.

Hi OOPMan

I would like to look into why you are getting these fluctuating speeds. Please can you PM me the MWEB account details in order to do so.

Thank u for your pm mweb guy nice to have service like this when i use your product, even if its just your ts servers :D

I have to admit, although Mweb may be a little bit more expensive WRT certain services, they definitely make it well worth the extra moolas.

MWeb Guy's involvement on MyBB and his willingness to help (even with silly issues) makes the world of difference!

Aww, thanks guys :)

It's because of feedback such as this that I do what I do ;)

We always appreciate the feedback and always strive to improve our service to our customers.

Steam used to suck. These days it runs at full line speed (on 4Mb line). What did you guys do? Go MWEB!

Hi arni1954

Yes, VOIP is prioritized on our network.

I can totally vouch for this. I use Skype every day for a good number of hours and it comes down at 120kB/s (my spouse's upload speed). Which means it doesn't get better than that.

Ironically, it's also better than on any capped product I've used.

Mweb really rocks socks in that regard.

Hi MWEB Guy!

Internet and landline is up :D but there is a terrible amount of noise??

Oliver

I'm still having issues patching Star Craft 2. I would guess it has to do with the ports battle.net uses to distribute their patches: 6881-6999

It uses the same ports as bittorrent, so that might be the problem...

For now I'm glad I got a 1Gb unshapped account with another ISP to help out when I need to download patches.

Thanks. Personally I am mainly using QQ with China . I hope I'll have the same success as you .

I don't know about SC2, but I know WoW used to have an option in the launcher to disable P2P. May be worth a try?

I THINK it was under options -> download pref. Or just Download pref. Been a while.
